Hog Roast Spring 2017

Thanks to our favorite butchers in Kansas City, Bichelmeyer Meats, we were able to have another great hog roast. Started out with a 54lb hog fully dressed. This hog was cooked with the help and expertise of good friend Joe Jackson from Jack Wagon BBQ; and good friend Robert Parker.
Injected with mojó flavoring and seasoned with dusting of adobó. Then with a brushing of Joe Jackson homemade Carolina sauce.
Had about 40 friends over who each brought delicious sides. Robert Parker made his family recipe Gumbo and Jazz and Mia added some collard greens and andouille sausage.
Great turnout to enjoy food, drink, and firepit with close friends and their families.
